Practice Experience
Lorraine Luthuli is an admitted attorney and senior associate at MDA. She joined the firm with extensive experience in construction and contract law in 2012 and has since further specialised in construction and contract law with a focus on contract administration.
Lorraine’s expertise include:
- Account management (status reporting, liaising with partners and clients etc.).
- Contract negotiation, drafting and amendments to standard form contracts (such as the FIDIC suite of contracts).
- On-site contract administration including ensuring compliance with procurement processes, preparation of tenders and negotiation and finalisation of contracts.
- Drafting bespoke agreements.
- Drafting claim notices.
- Assisting with alternative dispute resolutions.
- Writing quarterly articles addressing issues affecting the construction industry.
