Practice Experience

Aadila Mahomed is an admitted Attorney and associate at MDA Attorneys with experience in technology law and civil litigation in the areas of, debt collections, property law, family law and insolvency law in both the Magistrates’ and High Courts of South Africa.

Aadila has worked with the major telecommunications providers, banks and insurance companies in South Africa and the Middle East and Africa regions for the Information Communications and Technology sectors of their business and her experience includes:

  • The review of agreements and advising on the inherent risks therein;
  • Drafting opinions and memoranda of advice
  • Drafting standard form agreements;
  • Drafting bespoke agreements tailor made to the requirements of the client,
  • Minimising the risk of litigation by engaging in dispute resolution with the relevant stakeholders,
  • Legal research on developing areas of the Information Communications and Technology sector

Aadila also has experience in policy and guideline drafting in the Human Resources sector.
